The couple that swims together, stays together. Comics Julie Wilson Nimmo and Greg Hemphill take the plunge at Scotland's breathtaking and beautiful wild swimming spots. Eposode one of series two the couple take a short family mini-adventure to Barra and Vatersay.


Many people will fondly remember Jules in the role of Miss Hoolie on the childrens TV series Balamory and Greg as Jack in Still Game.


The duo are kicking off series two with a flight from Glasgow to Barra to meet their sons, dog and a VW dormobile called Luke. The eposode includes swimming with some Barra residents including Jannette from the Post Office and Ishi, Gaelic & Yoga teacher. Staying at a campsite in Eoligarry and enjoying a fish supper from Fishbox Kitchen. After a visit to the Annie Jane Memorial and swimming in Vatersay bay the enjoying some delicious cake from Piece of Cake in Vatersay. The family also kayak to Kisimul with Calum and Ellie from Clearwater Paddling and round off their mini adventure with a curry at Kisimul Cafe.


So sit back, relax and enjoy the lovely scenery and the family enjoying the islands. Great short introduction of what a break in Barra and Vatersay could have in store for you when you visit this summer or in the future.
