Summer Holidays start for the children of Barra and Vatersay on Friday. We are really crossing our fingers for some good weather.
Summer events kick off on the 7th of July for the Fisherman's Mass and then followed by Feis Bharraigh. To keep up with What's On then do keep an eye on our events calendar where we post everything from walks to ceilidhs, talks to live music.
Barra and Vatersay Businesses are mainly small and family run so from time to time they may be off on a short break so may not be open. Do check our page on business times to avoid disappointment.
Looking for different activities to do? They are all listed on our activities page. Do book in advance. Boat trips are a fabulous experience but they can only go out in certain weather conditions and they also have to have a minimum number of passengers they need to get before they go. Please do book boat trips in advance as this will help the skippers organise their trips.
Swimming Pool, Sauna and Gym also have changed opening hours from 1st July to 14th August.
